A quote audit, not another one-stay calculator
Check several supplier quotes before sending prices to guests. Each line separates the tax amount shown, the expected tax, and the amount to amend. If the taxable room price or collection route is not proven, it stays on hold.
The six starting quotes are fictional. You may replace them with non-identifying amounts and references; this worksheet calculates in browser memory and does not upload the fields. Avoid guest names and booking numbers. Before using the result for a real quote, independently confirm that the stay is in Kyoto City, the property is subject to this tax, and no exemption applies. The worksheet does not verify those facts. It checks only the accommodation-tax line; the property's actual invoice and collection evidence remain authoritative.

A child's age alone does not establish an exemption. If the guest count or room-charge allocation is unclear, ask the property before entering a figure. A free room, school event, ambiguous bundle, variable nightly price or uncertain payment route needs a supplier check. This page is a working estimate, not a tax filing or property confirmation. Recheck city guidance before live use.
